Understanding Status Badges

Learn what each status badge means and how to interpret application status indicators.

All Status Badges

Quick Ping uses visual badges to indicate your status with each company. These badges appear on job listings and in your queue.

Badge	Meaning	Description
🆕 New	New Opportunity	No prior contact with this company
✅ Applied	Application Sent	You've applied to this company
📅 Interview	Interview Stage	Interview scheduled or completed
⏳ Waiting	Awaiting Response	Applied, waiting for reply
❌ Rejected	Not Selected	Application declined
🎉 Offer	Job Offer	Received an offer

When you see "Applied"

Wait at least 2 weeks before following up. If you want to apply for a different role at the same company, wait 3-6 months.

When you see "Interview"

Focus on preparation. Review your notes in the Research Panel and prepare for the next stage.

When you see "Rejected"

It's okay to reapply after 6+ months if a similar role opens up. Many companies track rejections for 6-12 months.
