Extension Not Showing on LinkedIn

Fix issues where the Quick Ping panel doesn't appear on LinkedIn job pages.

Overview

The Quick Ping panel should automatically appear when you visit LinkedIn Jobs. If it's not showing, this guide will help you diagnose and fix the issue.

Common Fixes

The simplest fix. Press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac) to refresh. The panel should appear after the page reloads.

  1. Go to chrome://extensions
  2. Find "Quick Ping"
  3. Ensure the toggle is ON (blue)
  4. Click "Reload" to restart the extension
  1. Click the lock/info icon in the address bar
  2. Click "Site settings"
  3. Click "Clear data"
  4. Refresh LinkedIn
  1. Go to chrome://extensions
  2. Find Quick Ping and click "Remove"
  3. Reinstall from the Chrome Web Store

Advanced Solutions

Browser Conflicts

Other extensions might conflict:

  • Ad blockers (uBlock, AdBlock)
  • Privacy extensions (Ghostery)
  • Other LinkedIn tools

Try disabling them temporarily.

Browser Settings

Ensure these are enabled:

  • JavaScript: ON
  • Extensions: Allowed on LinkedIn
  • Content scripts: Not blocked
