Overview

Connecting your Gmail account is the key to unlocking Quick Ping's full potential. Once connected, Quick Ping automatically detects companies you've previously applied to, preventing duplicate applications and giving you a complete view of your job search history.

🎯 Key Benefit: Never accidentally apply to the same company twice. Quick Ping scans your Gmail for job-related emails and marks companies you've already contacted.

Privacy & Security

🔒 Your data is safe. We use read-only access, process locally, never store email content, and you can disconnect anytime.

We request "Gmail Read-Only" access, which means we can only view emails - never send, delete, or modify them. This is the most restricted access level available.

We use keyword detection to find job-related emails: "application received," "thank you for applying," "interview invitation," etc. Personal conversations are never accessed.

Yes! Go to Settings > Gmail and click "Disconnect." You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
